im trying to make a frame. this is the first time ive used sketchup, i dont know if everything is aligned properly though.
So if you’re using 3/4” plywood or 1/2” boards you’ll want to draw based on that. Download Open cutlist as it will allow you to download actual plans and maximize your material when cutting.

BTW I felt compelled to reply because I have built many almost identical looking structures and I have even published my plans on my GitHub. When you click on the link you will see an image of one and hopefully you can also see and rotate/zoom in on the SketchUp model (should work in desktop browsers, not mobile). I personally think that it looks best of only a couple of the cubbies have backing boards. I have adapted these plans for many things like nightstands, hanging cabinets etc.
