There's also the more heavyweight solution of using an external identity management system, e.g. LDAP authentication for jellyfin

Small issue with LDAP plugin
hmmm, could you provide a sanitized version of your server logs? (by sanitized I mean make sure to clean out any information you don't intent to share) preferably not via reddit but something like https://hastebin.com/. Alternatively, you could have a look in your logs if you find a line logged by the plugin itself

I cannot help directly, but just want to note that I am using OpenID Connect successfully with this app: https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/oidc_login so you may just want to try this and if not, I recommend checking for correct redirect URL to be set!
