iptv VS mpv-iptv

There are many IPTV providers, but for the purpose of this post I will only discuss the largest free option, IPTV-org on GitHub.

call your provider and ask them how to proceed. They should provide you with a list via a URL. If not, could always invest in an Android TV box

You can download tivimate or other similar iptv apps from the Amazon firestick, after you put you channels list inside this app. Here a good list of channel, https://github.com/iptv-org/iptv

I installed this iptv script to stream but I can't seem to get the controls working. Is there something missing? I put the .lua file in the scripts folder. The stream starts but I can't use the controls mentioned on the page

for more options in controlling these playlists install the iptv script, it adds fuzzy finding stations, better keybinds and ...

there is also this script which extends that functionality with keyboard shortcuts, fuzzy finding channels and some other cool stuff.
