Need some programming language suggestions for presentation
Second for smalltalk, also IOLang is super great, and of course the mighty Lua

Lisp β Mecrisp Stellaris Unofficial 1.0 documentation
Io and Rebol both have homo-iconicity and a macro system. Would you call them a Lisp? The name "Lisp" is short for "Lisp Processing". No wonder Lisp is the most powerful language in the world, when all powerful languages are secretly Lisp without knowing it!!!

old languages compilers
For oo/meta I'm partial to IO: https://iolanguage.org, is pretty neat to see how prototypal OO works.

How would I got about displaying how many people are in a team? (Like for example if there are 2 people in a team there will be 2 banners and will cite their name in the lore basically the bedwars team system)
You could just use Skript and make the thing yourself. I'd gladly help you

Breaking the Limits: How Folia Made 1k Player Minecraft Server a Reality
I would say out of those, Paper, mainly due to lack of toolchain complexity or unusual concepts like mixins. I'd say it's a great introduction to Java.
But other things you should also be looking into:
Skript provides an interesting easy-to-use DSL language for Paper/Spigot servers - https://github.com/SkriptLang/Skript

Opencomputers and Computercraft are mods that adds computers to Minecraft, running Lua. OpenGlasses2 lets you code your own augmented reality glasses in Minecraft, because why not? https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/opencomputers https://www.computercraft.info/
Minecraft Pi Edition was an ARM-only release of Minecraft Pocket Edition that is scriptable using TCP sockets, with APIs for various programming languages. Unfortunately, it was dead by the time it was finished, as it never got any updates after the initial release and doesn't have ARM64 support, and is a very limited version of the game https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/edition/pi
Minecraft Education edition has a Scratch-like programming system, but it's only available to teachers and is another thing they sorta dropped the ball on https://education.minecraft.net/en-us

Any ideas for self-managing permissions in the first-join? Java/Bedrock
sounds like something you could use Skript for https://github.com/SkriptLang/Skript

What is everyone using now?
Skript (this is a big one - it allows you to create custom scripts, which can run on schedule, at certain events or can be triggered by commands. it also allows you to create your own fully-custom commands, which, in full honesty, could replace a lot of other plugins in this list. the possibilities are practically endless and the knowledgebase and support are great. make sure to check it out)

Looking for a plugin that will teleport the player to the End upon death.
Skript is a plugin itself where you can write simple scripts to execute on the server. https://docs.skriptlang.org I have never done anything with it personally, but it should be relatively simple. Or you can make a spigot plugin which requires a bit of knowledge in the Java programming language. For somebody who has no programming experience both of these options would take you at least a day or so to learn the stuff. Maybe shorter, maybe longer. Or I could just make the plugin for you but I'm tired atm lying in bed typing this with one hand lol. And you wouldn't learn anything about programming which can be useful in the future if I made the plugin for you :) I just realized you could also ask ChatGPT to help you generate a Skript (or Spigot plugin if you wanna go that route) . It's not always accurate but with a bit of tinkering you should get there. Hope this helps lmk

Is there a lives based keep inventory plugin?
The only thing on the market that I'm aware of that could do this is skript https://github.com/SkriptLang/Skript/releases Do note skript is rarely advised as it can be buggy and inefficient but you could probably use something like this:
-
Is it possible to make a command that gives all players with a certain achievement a certain status effect?
While i'm sure its possible in vanilla it'd probably be a pain. You're better off using something like skript for something like this
-
A plugin for KeepInventory, but only for specific inventory slots?
easiest way is probably a skript
