inkscape-open-symbols VS MaterialDesign

* Arc from 3 points: There is a Live Path Effect for that.

* tangent/normal to a curve: there is an experimental Live Path Effect for tangent (You can get the normal by just rotating the tangent 90 degrees)

* Measure length: Many ways to get that: e.g. the measure tool. or you can use the Measure segments Live Path Effect.

* Measuring the area: There is an extension: Extensions > Visualize Path > Measure Path.

* Measuring angles: again, you can use the measure tool.

* Library of elements: Inkscape has symbols Objects > Symbols. You can also add you own symbols. See also https://github.com/PanderMusubi/inkscape-open-symbols

* Inkscape snapping is way better (See the new smart alignement snapping in version 1.2).

* Inkscape also prints instruction on how to use tools on the status bar

I want to use the icons from https://materialdesignicons.com/ in my angular 4 project. The instructions on the website are only covering how to include it in Angular 1.x (https://materialdesignicons.com/getting-started)

Material Design Icons

Svelte Material Icons is an NPM package that gives you access to a large set of material icons as a Svelte-component, what makes integration much easier. In fact, the library offers even more icons than Googles official icon set, since they rely on materialdesignicons.com. Just run:

Instead of using Vuetify's default font icons, the project imports SVG icons from the mdi/js package at https://materialdesignicons.com. This saves approximately 1 MB in the final package.

Looks great. Might use them in my future projects. Currently I have been using Material Design Icons [0] for its broad icon gallery.
