GPU pass through on 13900H - does anybody succeed?
The i915 driver doesn't have SR-IOV mainlined just yet, so you need to build a dkms module to get it going.

Need help with 12th-gen Intel UHD Graphics passthrough
Then I tried the SR-IOV approach, installed the latest proxmox kernel which had this module already patched in and followed the instructions on the page but lspci | grep VGA reports 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Alder Lake-UP3 GT1 [UHD Graphics] (rev 0c) as before. This is the output of dmesg | grep i915:

Mini pc for 4K streaming
For specifics: Up until last month, for gpu passthrough in Proxmox you have to use this random driver : https://github.com/strongtz/i915-sriov-dkms/tree/master With new Proxmox 8, it should have worked, but I still had to install this driver to even begin working on passthrough. Now I passed it to a UbuntuVM. Now Ubuntu by default doesn't support Alder lake iGPU completely. I installed kernel 6 somthing and the previous mentioned github driver. Now guess what, Plex doesn't support this GPU. This is the thread where I finally stopped. https://forums.plex.tv/t/movie-corruption-when-plex-decodes-4k-hdr/834529/45

The Great CPU Stagnation
There’s actually 2, theres the intel lts one, which i guess they did do something it just never amounted to anything, explained here:

Code 43 with Intel iGPU UHD 770 via SR-IOV or passthrough (12th Gen Alder Lake SRIOV pass-through 12 generation)
DKMS module from /u/strongtz github
- 13th gen iGPU pass through fixed?

iGPU/APU and virtualization
SR-IOV does allow sharing the iGPU between a host and a guest but mainline linux doesn't support it yet. Intel is planning to mainline it later this year though and there's this dkms module if you know what you're doing and wanna try it.

GPU Passthrough using SR-IOV UHD Graphics and 3050ti on XPS 9510. I'm so close!
Hello, everyone! I've been trying to pass through my dedicated graphics card on my optimus XPS 15 9510 for... quite a while. I was advised by [this blog post](https://lantian.pub/en/article/modify-computer/laptop-intel-nvidia-optimus-passthrough.lantian) that I need to pass through both my integrated graphics card and the dedicated graphics card in order to use the dedicated graphics card on the host, by my 11th Gen Intel i7-11800H doesn't support GVT-g, only SR-IOV. So, I installed [this kernel module](https://github.com/strongtz/i915-sriov-dkms) which allowed me to seemingly successfully create a VF and pass it through alongside my dedicated graphics card.

Dell XPS 15 9520 (64GB RAM): How much battery drainage in percentage are you getting when your laptop is in Sleep/Standby/Suspend mode (powering the memory)? In my case is around 1% / hour using Debian 12, that means the laptop will not last more than 2-3 days

Intel's new GPUs, dream for vfio setups?
Intel has SR-IOV support on their own branch of the LTS kernel. I made an issue asking when they would mainline it, hopefully they do it next year.
- Intel 12th gen full iGPU passthrough to Linux guest, is it possible?

No SR-IOV for ARC A-series GPUs?
SR-IOV is working on gen12 in Intel's kernel fork here: https://github.com/intel/linux-intel-lts/blob/lts-v5.10.120-yocto-220627T062711Z/drivers/gpu/drm/i915/i915_sriov.c

SR-IOV of Intel GPU seems to be available, and the work of merging the code into the mainline kernel is in progress.

Maybe it can be ported to the mainline kernel through DKMS or patches? After all, code consolidation may not be completed until the end of 2023.

GVM: A GPU Virtual Machine for Iommu-Capable Computers
>> https://github.com/intel/linux-intel-lts/commit/41ef979f0894
> This is pretty unhelpful. Legitimately
Indeed, "98 changed files with 11,276 additions and 46 deletions" and no idea if it will work on a vanilla kernel.
I would like to try running linux baremetal to virtualize Windows 11 running in fullscreen mode with control over the mouse and keyboard, but I may wait until that's mainlined.
