debian experience and why ı use arch btw and there is no nomacs , leafpad , python-adblock nice work ı hate apt and snap shit
You could follow an i3-gaps build script for debian, like this one, but if Arch has what you need then just go with that. They're both great distros.

Debian packages for i3-gaps
I've had to configure my new workstation recently and grew tired of having to build i3-gaps locally (even though maestrogerardo/i3-gaps-deb does a great job). Because I'm lazy, I've created barnumbirr/i3-gaps-debian to automatically build i3-gaps for Debian Stable, Testing and Unstable. I'll try to update and upload packages for every new release but don't hesitate to ping me if I forget. Please give the packages a spin (and the repository a star if you can ;) ).

- I’m installing Arch. Most install methods (Arch, archinstall, Arch Linux GUI, and Anarchy Install) won’t read my internal drive, only my external drive. I changed the SATA controller in BIOs to no affect. I currently use Garuda and want to switch to Plain Arch. (SDA is my external drive) Any fixes?

Why Arch?
#What benefits do I get from using Arch? ---: pacman and aur don't need enough auther repo #Arch worthy? ---: yes, but you should use it yourself #Does Arch have too many issues? ---: this is a normal distribution I don't have a problem #Arch unstable? ---: no this is my opinion i am using a very old computer i am creating my setup script https://gitlab.com/archkubi/myarchinstaller #As an Ubuntu user convince me to use Arch on my daily drive computer. ---: if you want to learn how the system works yes gentoo is a bigger example but arch linux is simpler decide for yourself
