Need an easy Golang project to raise my level!
Like, I made i3bar compatible status display for i3, but I wouldn't recommend it as a project because while I learned a bunch, it's so niche it isn't really that useful to anyone but me, and I think you kinda need something actually useful for you to keep the motivation going.
What are some alternatives?
autorandr - Auto-detect the connected display hardware and load the appropriate X11 setup using xrandr
MuOxi - MuOxi, a modern mud game engine written in Rust.
i3lock-fancy - i3lock script that takes a screenshot of the desktop, blurs the background and adds a lock icon and text
3mux - Terminal multiplexer inspired by i3
spofi - Spotify controls in rofi.
i3icons2 - go version of i3icons - native deamon to rename workspaces with fontawesome-icons based on open applications
sudoku - Sudoku solver in Go
multimon
wxo - Command line weather grabber useful for window manager status bars among other purposes.
i3 - A fork of the i3 window manager with gaps and some other features. :warning: i3-gaps has been merged into i3.
i3 - A tiling window manager for X11
