Learn 11ty
For this hello world site, I used the original tutorial. I added some blogposts to the site and linked them on new pages. Once I made my basic site and checked it on local host, I pushed my changes to GitHub. If you do that you can then deploy them to GitHub pages by simply creating a gh-pages branch.
