Actual SSH over HTTPS
Corkscrew works for a specific use case:
1. you're behind an HTTP proxy, and
2. the HTTP proxy support the CONNECT method
Around 20 years ago I did a short contract which had #1 but not #2. Thankfully, there's a tool for this, too. Of course it requires some set up on the server side:

Using proxy password with a program that doesn't take a proxy password
Chrome lets you set a proxy but not a username or password but I have a proxy that can only be authenticated with a password. I tried using proxychains-ng but that doesn't work with Chrome https://github.com/rofl0r/proxychains-ng/issues/45.

Why my proxy file didn't have anything? I'm new to linux. I don't really understand how to explain my problem. Everytime I watched guide on how to setup proxy theirs always have a bunch of 'things' in proxychains.conf but mine just didn't show up. Sorry for bad English.
In the source code of proxychains-ng, there is the basic proxychains.conf file. You could use that.

sshuttle - Transparent proxy server that works as a poor man's VPN. Forwards over ssh. Doesn't require admin. Works with Linux and MacOS. Supports DNS tunneling.
