What projects need C?
We use C on our storage engine. https://github.com/hse-project/hse. C is a good language if you want to be usable from other languages because all languages speak the C ABI.

If you visit https://github.com/Kelpsy/proc-bitfield it redirects to https://github.com/bigbass1997/proc-bitfield. They may not be the same person as Kelpsy may have transferred repo ownership to bigbass1997, but if they did then bigbass1997 probably knows Kelpsy so you could ask them.

proc-bitfield: a crate to expressively declare bitfield-like structs
I've added more examples using every option in version 0.2.0, hopefully enough to make things clearer! They're available on the crates.io page as well as on GitHub, while docs.rs contains the already present API and syntax docs.
