The Effective Tax Rate plotted from $0 to $1 million in ordinary income for 7 highest tax states plus Federal.
I wanted to be able to see the effective tax rates and total income tax for a given ordinary income in all 50 states at once. I couldn't find it online, so I built a little command line program to return that data and plot it. Feel free to play around with the code, it's written in Go, and is open-sourced under the MIT license. In essence, I copied all 50 states' tax brackets and rates (plus DC and Federal), which were conveniently found here, and can then run any given income against all 50 tax schemes and print and plot the output in a single line.
