I've been trying to get the Panasonic AC (CS/CU-NU24WKYW) on my home app, but this plugin is based for the Panasonic Comfort Cloud platform: https://github.com/codyc1515/homebridge-panasonic-air-conditioner
  • So excited!

AND getting back to the topic of Homebridge, my password manager has been a big help with dealing with my user password for my air conditioner. Except a friend said I'd never need to use the "Device Password" so I didn't save it. I need it for the homebridge-panasonic-air-conditioner plugin and can't remember it. I'm now in the uncomfortable position of having to wait for an able bodied friend to come climb a stepladder to press the buttons to reset the device so I can set this all up for myself. ARG!!!

Add it using the IDE. On the "My SmartApps" tab, click the blue +New SmartApp Button. Then select From Code. Grab the code from https://github.com/tonesto7/homebridge-smartthings.git. Or follow the instructions here: https://github.com/tonesto7/homebridge-smartthings/tree/2.0-alpha. When you get the smart app loaded into the IDE and get to step 2, instead of the classic instructions, just go to Automations and scroll to the bottom where you should see the smarthings v2 smartapp.

  • Has anyone tried Nexia on HOOBS?
    1 project | /r/HOOBS | 15 Jan 2021
I've tried all of the plugins and even reached out to the HOOBS customer support via email. A rep by the name of Ovi has been no help whatsoever. First, Ovi suggested I buy a SmartThings Hub. So I did. When that didn't work, Ovi suggested I open an issue with the plugin developer here: https://github.com/tonesto7/homebridge-smartthings/issues. I did and it's been 23 days with no response from the developer. The HOOBS support is horrible. They take days to reply and when they do, its no help.
