homebridge-http-webhooks VS homebridge-config-ui-x

homebridge http webhooks is what I’m using…

I saw and installed homebridge-http-webhooks dbut maybe I'm wrong but this seams to be to add devices to the homebridge interface that are accessible by http request ?

I tried the following HTTP plugins with no luck: homebridge-http-entry homebridge-http-webhooks

For other types of warnings you would need to appropriate Homebridge plugin - or if you are really clever use a web hooks plugin https://github.com/benzman81/homebridge-http-webhooks#readme to get the data from a government alert service or similar.

I can't even search for plugins without getting a similar timeout error. I've tried everything in the Troubleshooting page, and the only thing that works at all is disabling ipv6 on my Eero Pro 6e network, which seems like a less desirable option. The Pro 6e doesn't have Homekit security features, and I don't have advanced security turned on. I've tried disabling ipv6 on the RPi and in Homebridge, but I'm only following random posts I find online, so I'm not even sure if I did that correctly. Sometimes I make a change and can no longer get into Homebridge through the portal, then I have to reinstall.

hb-service is part of the config-ui-x plug-in. You’ll need to install that first.

The UI has its own rest api

You should be able to remove specific accessories from displaying in Home via your homebridge, you can start homebridge in insecure mode: https://github.com/oznu/homebridge-config-ui-x/wiki/Enabling-Accessory-Control which should enable you to control accessories.
