For the rest of your issues please provide your logs. Regarding Ecobee, their API has a great deal of issues which makes that plugin unstable. You can also check if this solves your issue: https://github.com/vojtamolda/homebridge-ecobee3-sensors/issues/33

Best Homekit smartplug?
homebridge w/ https://github.com/bwp91/homebridge-govee will control them via home app if you have something to run homebridge on like always on PC or Raspberry Pi

Nanoleaf’s Matter Essentials smart bulbs are here and they’re good
Fuck these lights. Bought them, and they were the most frustrating experience with technology I’ve had in a long time. And I’m not alone . Just finished sending them back to return. Ended up getting some cheaper ($7-8/bulb) Govee LED bulbs which are brighter and hooked them into HomeKit via Homebridge using this awesome plugin. Works great

Widgets on iOS
I mostly use it so that when my TV turns on, my immersion lights turn on as well automatically. The plug-in page will probably offer more insight on the functionality.
