Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Space bar as meta?
I created a piece of software called home-row-control to allow me to use my Tab and Enter keys like you describe - tapping Tab/Enter gives the usual behavior, but holding them down like a modifier treats them as extra Ctrl keys.

Is there any keyboard layout designed specifically for staggered keyboards with ergonomics in mind?
I've tried making something like it [here](https://github.com/coughingmouse/p-layout), but I believe the chances are that someone made something with similar design objectives before.
