hiveos-linux VS NVidiaProfileInspectorDmW

I definitely recommend GPURisers products when cryptomining with HiveOS.

I added a new rig and on hiveos.farm it says the rig is offline and no statuses show on the cards. However, I can connect to it via shellinabox and its online and running, I can also see it running on my miner page. I have refreshed and even rebooted rig. Have any of you seen this?

How does the webinterface look like ? I mean when you log in into https://hiveos.farm/

I read in another thread, link, that the GPU order is random, and in another thread, link, I understood it as they are given som fixed PCI addresses.

I use "Claymore's Dual Miner" for Ethereum with great success. If you'll be running several cards, consider using Hive OS for an operating system. It's free for a small mining operation.

Which program to use to mine? I use https://ethermine.org/ to see how much I've mined. Many people like using Link: https://hiveos.farm/.

Also if Windows, clock with nvidia-inspector and if while mining nvidia-smi says P2 mode then get NVidiaProfileInspectorDmW fire it up and scroll down to section 5 and the Force P2=>off then the GPU will rage up into P0 mode like if you were gaming (sometimes, not always, higher clocks). Then once that's set, do clocking. Since nvidia uses clock offsets, but the base-clock for P2 and P0 are sometimes different, if you clock up in P2 and exit the miner the driver briefly spikes the card into P0 mode on its way to P8 (idle) and will crash it or lock up, etc. If the P2 and P0 stock base clocks are not different, then unlocking P0 doesn't really matter so much.
