The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.

I like [highlight-thing](https://github.com/fgeller/highlight-thing.el) though it won't restrict highlights to the current paragraph.

I've found zoom works better than golden-ratio-mode for me.

Experimental window animations
I don't know if the cursor animation can be implemented in Emacs but I tried to implement the window animation along with zoom-mode. It is quite experimental and probably needs much more work to make it stable but I wanted to share anyway, here is the demo:
