  • Any Linux USB overclock tools?

USBHID has a way of setting polling rate on controllers too, just use jspoll instead of mousepoll. If it doesn't work (because of XHCI) try wmo-oc-kmod, edit the VID:PID to match your device and compile it. Work on >1Khz is being done by the viper 8khz community, don't know if it can be used for overclocking tho.

So, for years now it hasn't been possible to overclock a mouse if you're not using a native EHCI controller, but I found out that you actually can now, even when using an external hub. If you're not using a wmo1.1a you have to edit some stuff (it's on the readme) but now us weirdos can totally keep using that same MLT04 we found on the side of the road or for cheap at some flea market with decent refresh rates now that everything is moving to USB3 and XHCI.
