Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Introducing Helux, A React state library that encourages service injection and supports reactive updates
helux is a zhuang't that encourages service injection and supports responsive changes to react. Its predecessor is concent (a high-performance state management framework for Vue-like development experience), but concent itself needs to be compatible with class and function to maintain a consistent syntax, and for its setup function, internal The amount of code is too large. After compression, there are more than 70 more than KB, and the API is exposed too much, which leads to a sharp increase in learning difficulty. It was originally designed as a lightweight react data flow solution that encourages service injection, supports responsive changes, and supports dependency collection.

Vercel announces Turbopack, the successor to Webpack
It is highly recommended to try hel micro(https://github.com/tnfe/hel) in turbo, cause hel-micro is a runtime module federation SDK which is unrelated to tool chain, so any tool system can access module federation technology in seconds .
-
Why is hel-micro a better implementation of module federation
The module federation can play an even more powerful role in the construction of super-large js projects, and the module deployment efficiency and sharing efficiency of giant applications will be easily solved. At the same time, it is matched with micro-container related frameworks (such as wujie, rame), etc., to ensure your isolation operation requirements. Escort, welcome to star hel-micro, understand and use it.

Build a Vite 5 backend integration with Flask
Once you build a simple Vite backend integration, try not to complicate Vite's configuration unless you absolutely must. Vite has become one of the most popular bundlers in the frontend space, but it wasn't the first and it certainly won't be the last. In my 7 years of building for the web, I've used Grunt, Gulp, Webpack, esbuild, and Parcel. Snowpack and Rome came-and-went before I ever had a chance to try them. Bun is vying for the spot of The New Hotness in bundling, Rome has been forked into Biome, and Vercel is building a Rust-based Webpack alternative.

Node.js vs. Deno vs. Bun: JavaScript runtime comparison
Additional features for Bun include a transpiler and package manager. As hinted at in the name, it also includes bundling features, giving you the functionality that would otherwise require another tool, such as Snowpack or rollup.js. It also has a dead code elimination feature through its JavaScript minifier.

Even, there are several bundling tools available, including popular ones like Webpack and Snowpack.

Should I migrate from create-react-app?
once upon a time there was this thing called Snowpack: https://www.snowpack.devwhich had a lot of promises as vite (rollup w/ esm). So I migrated a project over from CRA to this thing. While startup speed was much much faster, it actually didn't make the app useable. I timed it meticulously for both CRA and snowpack build and found that the TTI was almost identical. I am not claiming the same to be vite but it's possible and I don't have a large app to prove it..

> special snowflake build toolchains
That reminds me, wasn't there a build tool called Snowflake?
Oh, it was called Snowpack [1]. And it's no longer being actively maintained. Yeesh.

Building an offline-first app with React and CouchDB
The first thing we need is a JavaScript project for our app. We'll use Snowpack as our bundler. Open a terminal located in a directory for the project and type npx create-snowpack-app react-couchdb --template @snowpack/app-template-minimal. Snowpack will create a skeleton for our React application and install all dependencies. Once it's done doing its job, type cd react-couchdb to get into the newly created project directory. create-snowpack-app is very similar to create-react-app in how it sets-up your project, but it's a lot less intrusive (You don't even need to use eject at any point).

Creating an express app and using Snowpack as a build tool
Before you get too deep into Snowpack, be aware that they recommend using other tools now because it’s no longer maintained.
What are some alternatives?
rules_nodejs - NodeJS toolchain for Bazel.
vite - Next generation frontend tooling. It's fast!
module-federation-with-webpack5 - module federation with React including HMR support
esbuild - An extremely fast bundler for the web
salsa - A generic framework for on-demand, incrementalized computation. Inspired by adapton, glimmer, and rustc's query system.
parcel - The zero configuration build tool for the web. 📦🚀
limu - High performance immutable lib alternative to immer with the same api, based on shallow copy on read and mark modified on write mechanism.
webpack - A bundler for javascript and friends. Packs many modules into a few bundled assets. Code Splitting allows for loading parts of the application on demand. Through "loaders", modules can be CommonJs, AMD, ES6 modules, CSS, Images, JSON, Coffeescript, LESS, ... and your custom stuff.
MAL-Cover-CSS - Automatically generate CSS to add cover images to your MyAnimeList classic list designs
