hedy
Hedy is a gradual programming language to teach children programming. Gradual languages use different language levels, where each level adds new concepts and syntactic complexity. At the end of the Hedy level sequence, kids master a subset of syntactically valid Python. (by hedyorg)

How Are Kids Learning To Program These Days?
There is Hedy, which is aimed at both teaching kids how to program, and also making the gap between the kids who "get it" and the kids who don't smaller (compared to scratch where you could have one kid barely know how to move the cat in a circle, and another kid practically having made a small minigame because they were quicker to pick up the language)
