Time Tracking for Developers ā WakaTime vs. Hakatime vs. Wakapi
WakaTime comes with around 50 different IDE plugins (ranging from IntelliJ over VSCode to Vim and Emacs), which are all open source. Third-party projects like Hakatime and Wakapi started to build up on that basis and implement their own backends, which resemble the official WakaTime's API and therefore are (partially) compatible.

An open-source alternative to QuickBooks
There's also Plain Text Accounting[1]. The biggest problem of all open source solutions, accountants' experience aside, is the lack of banking and taxes integration, especially outside of US, e.g. for Asian, South American, or African businesses. The most promising FOSS solution for SME I was able to find is Akaunting[2][3].
