Show HN: Install GitHub release binaries from the CLI
nice! looks good, didn't know about it. I'll try it by installing it with my tool ;)
binenv supports versioning which is nice, and reads from a maintained list (https://github.com/devops-works/binenv/blob/develop/distribu...). mine is just simpler, a single script, and accepts any user/repo
What are some alternatives?
ymuse - GTK client for Music Player Daemon (MPD) written in Go
gh-install - install GitHub release binaries from the CLI interactively
sealer - Build, Share and Run Both Your Kubernetes Cluster and Distributed Applications (Project under CNCF)
lazykubectl - A Terminal UI client for kubernetes
just-install - The simple package installer for Windows
vcluster - vCluster - Create fully functional virtual Kubernetes clusters - Each vcluster runs inside a namespace of the underlying k8s cluster. It's cheaper than creating separate full-blown clusters and it offers better multi-tenancy and isolation than regular namespaces.
pluto - A cli tool to help discover deprecated apiVersions in Kubernetes
helm - The Kubernetes Package Manager
kubectx - Faster way to switch between clusters and namespaces in kubectl
