Managing slightly differing dotfiles over multiple machines - Git?
I am using one git repo for dotfiles which are used on multiple machines. The aliases and functions are loaded based on the HOST string - viz dotfiles . Not exactly i3 config, but it might probably give you an idea of one possible solution.

- i3 equivalent (if possible) to KDE's "Present Windows" feature. Displays all windows (all workspaces) and you can click the one you like. If you type while in this mode, it filters the windows with matching names, making them easier to find (nice to have).
