Anyone using Anki to learn programming, what were your results?
I tried to use Anki to learn different languages for a couple of years and finally understood I don't feel confident with my knowledge. I think know the language construction, but when it comes to use it, I stuck and open documentation. So finally I decided to write my own tool for it. Currently I'm using it to learn Python, C++, Go and several other languages simultaneously and it seems that hands-on learning process is much more effective.

Anki-Fy Your Life
I'm surprised no one mentioned Memoet (https://github.com/memoetapp/memoet). It is a much more modern version of Anki - much more open algorithm, REST APIs and universal interfaces and self-hosted control over one's data.

What has spiked your productivity in 2023? Let's transform eachother's lives ✨
I started using a self-hosted tool called Memoet (https://github.com/memoetapp/memoet). I put everything I want to remember there - in Q&A structure. All I need to do regularly is open Memoet and swipe through the flashcards.

I made an alternative to the Anki web
I'm not very fond of installing and updating software, and the Anki web is ugly, so I made an alternative web app: https://memoet.com.
