Good Books for a GO Beginner in 2023/24
Go never changed as much as Java does in each major release, so old books are still relevant. https://www.gopl.io/ is fine if you read about generics and some new standard library modules somewhere else later.

Is go worth studying as first language?
The GOPL book is good one to start with, if you prefer reading books. https://www.gopl.io/

Does anyone have any good resources to practice channel, context, and goroutine?
Not that they are leet code style, but some exercises from "The Go Programming Language" are really worth having a look at, also most solutions are available at https://github.com/adonovan/gopl.io

is go still simple?
What part(s) are you struggling with and how are you learning? The Go Programming Language is slightly outdated but is an excellent intro. You can read the first chapter free. Also the resources on https://go.dev/learn/ are great. If I were you, I would come up with an idea you're excited about and build it.

Learning about concurrency
For a deeper dive, Iβd recommend The Go Programming Language - a fantastic resource covering a broader landscape of the language than just concurrency.
-
If you want to learn Golang - please go through "Go Programming Language" by Brian Kernighan and Alan Donovan
"Low-level programming" is chapter 13, both in the version I have and on https://www.gopl.io/ -- the rest is all somewhat crucial stuff, except for maybe reflection.

Why write a library?
Semantic Versioning: for every update (major, minor, or patch) made, increment the version number according to semantic versioning.

Node package managers (npm, yarn, pnpm) - All you need to know
npm automates the process of installing, updating, and managing dependencies, which helps to avoid "dependency hell." It supports semantic versioning (semver) that automatically handles patch and minor updates without breaking the existing code, thus maintaining stability across projects. npm also provides the capability to run scripts and commands defined in package.json, which can automate common tasks such as testing, building, and deployment.

Testing Our Tasks
The reason for this is that software libraries and package managers, in general, but specifically here, rely on semantic versioning. Semantic versioning is really useful for distributing packages in a predictable way. What does this look like for our project?
