[Package of the day] Emacs Google Translate
There is a good alternative to this package - go-translate, to which I switched some time ago. I experienced regular errors with `google-translate`. Also `go-translate` supports multiple translation engines.

Does anyone uses Emacs for non-automated translation?
There's an org-translate minor mode: https://elpa.gnu.org/packages/org-translate.html. I haven't used it for long, but it can be used to track for example sentences between source text and translated text. Another package which I've used to lookup translations of single words is https://github.com/atykhonov/google-translate.

The Ö in löyly
According to this UK data set, "sa" is same as in massage, can't find samples for "au" or short "u", but same "u" in long form is for example in adjutant and "asume, and they don't sound too long for me. Then it is just sliding from one vowel to other.

[Package of the day] Emacs Google Translate
I am not aware of any. However, I have found this to be a good source for IPA data https://github.com/open-dict-data/ipa-dict. Based on that data I use the following function to convert text to IPA:
-
