  • go.mod in a library that is to be imported.. but used in local dev while developing it...

I am trying to play around with building a simple test library.. that would ideally be hosted at github.com/... and imported in to other people's projects. I understand (I think anyway) that I can build this with a go.mod in the main/root folder, with a name of mylibrary (for example) in the go.mod file. It would be hosted at github.com/mycompany/mylibrary and imported like any other library is.

What are some alternatives?
