I didn't have the energy to maintain Rubel Laravel's update cycle is fast and needs frequent support I want to focus on business logic as much as possible rather than framework updates React is too much for me cried to Redux FLUX wasn't at the scale we needed I wanted to cut out the API and make it easy to throw away the front I wanted more control over the source code Overly relying on frameworks, I felt a sense of crisis about framework dependencies Hard to catch system bugs -etc...
