Before joining Functionland I wanted to learn more about web3. So I joined an eth global hackathon. There I worked on a token gated livepeer video streaming site that creators could use to host an online ticketed concert.

When minting video NFTs, a major factor to consider is the file size. Livepeer Video Services solves this issue when using the Video NFT SDK. This SDK will transcode the video to the proper file size utilizing the Livepeer Network as well as leveraging the layer 2 solutions of Polygon to reduce the cost of transactions on the Ethereum blockchain. There's 2 methods to pick from. One is BlocktheSpot and there is the DLL injection method. Supposedly the DLL Injection method is better as it's supposed to be more resistant against auto updates and supposedly more stable. But I've only had experience with BlockTheSpot and I've been using it for a while with auto update disabled and I've been pleased with it. You can also use SpotX which is supposed to be based off of BlockTheSpot but has additional features such as update disabling. You can't go wrong with either just use whichever you prefer. Just follow the instructions linked below and you should be good to go.

On a windows computer you can block Spotify ads with Block the Spot

I would replace bloated Opera Gx with Firefox + hardened user.js Spotify can be anoying if you are using free option, you can use BlockTheSpot that can unlock pretty much every premium features. If it's not a big deal - just buy premium, I can't afford Spotify right now.
