I was also wondering what the SSH setup boilerplate (https://github.com/mkhan45/ssh_tictactoe/blob/23dbdc0b93fbf85f33aec754106a940debb496e1/lib/ssh.ex#L144) does, and if there's a way to remove it via smarter options or something.
