Any Free Audio to Text Converter?
I do a lot of transcriptions in my job, most of the websites suggested in other comments requiere an account and payments, https://freesubtitles.ai is free and you don’t need an account, you could pay to get premium services but it’s not mandatory

Need recommendations for translating audio to text to subtitles
The translation part most likely won't work out all that well, but for JAV (˵ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°˵) I've used https://freesubtitles.ai/ to get the original audio in subtitle format and then used DeepL to get it translated to English. DeepL doesn't support Hebrew though, but I also tried the AWS' whateveritwascalled and it was okay-ish, maybe check out if they support it.

From yesterday
You can download the audio and then get a transcript/subtitles with freesubtitles.ai
- Software I could insert a video file into and have it translate all the on-screen text

Generate subtitles for content with a free app
Hey guys I am the developer of https://freesubtitles.ai, I am really satisfied with the quality of the transcriptions now and wanted to share it around a bit, you can use it to transcribe content from over 100 different languages and automatically translate it to over 100 different languages for free. I have been using it to watch movies in foreign languages and it works pretty well, hope it can serve as an alternative to trying to find already made subtitles online, cheers!

Show HN: Natural Language Search for Any GitHub Repo
Hi folks, I created an open-source codebase search tool.
Just enter any public Github URL and your search query to get top matching functions on the repo.
Source Code: https://github.com/rahuldan/codesearch
Made it using the OpenAI's embeddings API, FAISS and Postgres.
Currently supports only Python and vanilla Javascript projects. And the max repo size is 100MB
You can self-host using Docker setup from my Github (This would allow you to index local repos)
Would love to hear your feedback

Show HN: GPTDuck – Ask questions about any GitHub repo
Great project!!
I was building something on similar lines. It is a semantic search engine for codebases using Openai's embedding and FAISS https://github.com/rahuldan/codesearch
It fetches the functions in the code for a query

I also built a semantic search engine for codebases using Openai's embedding and FAISS https://github.com/rahuldan/codesearch
