Didn’t feel like buying an additional wheel for my Moza r9 so I figured out a way to make my old Logitech one work with all the buttons still functional. Isn’t the prettiest but it works and it was free so I can’t complain.
No kidding but you gotta make some sort of tutorial or a GitHub Documentation of the process like "https://github.com/GeekyDeaks/g29-load-cell". I'll 100% do this if so.

HELP! I need finer tuning but I don't know how.
Geez man.. total noob here, don't even know how to edit post to add photo. The schematics on this page. https://github.com/GeekyDeaks/g29-load-cell

G29 Pedals worth doing the load cell upgrade or TrueBrake mod or rather save for new pedals?
TrueBrake is about the most I'd recommend paying as anything above that is probably better put towards a new set. If you are into tinkering and have access to a 3D printer, then there is a DIY mod here: https://github.com/GeekyDeaks/g29-load-cell

Just started last week, it’s a simple set up but it gets the job done. Any pedal suggestions? The G29 ones are eh at best.
If you like to tinker, I made a 3D model to convert the brake pedal to a loadcell which pretty much transformed my racing since I don't really use the clutch (https://github.com/GeekyDeaks/g29-load-cell). If you did decide to go the budget route, then I'd also suggest connecting the pedals to the PC via an adapter to avoid the mapping done by the G29 wheelbase, especially to the brake signal

Load cell/ decent pedals
I put together a load cell conversion for my G29, cost about £30 total. Based on this set of parts. Definitely worth doing if you're looking for an upgrade.

Nice work! That paper is an interesting read too. I did an analogue variant but which also required the use of a 3D printer, so it's not as accessible as your solution (https://github.com/GeekyDeaks/g29-load-cell), nor does it have the mapping to compensate for the wheel behaviour on the brake channel, so it can get a bit grabby near the top end. A friend did something similar, with an Ardunio and the HX711, but we struggled to get the analogue out to be smooth enough for the wheel without some external circuitry due to it using PWM. Did you create some kind of filter or does the teensy have a proper DAC?
