1 project | reddit.com/r/AnonAddy | 27 Jan 2022
CCs for sending from an alias are not currently supported, there is a GitHub issue open about this here.
New Google account for apps that require it?

Use a service like AnonAddy or SimpleLogin to create an address. Make a Google account via an factory reset Android device or an Android emulator (otherwise they may ask for a phone number). Use that account for your Nest stuff.

Not sure if /s or not, but if its true I highly recommend a password manager. I use a unique email address for every account I have (I'm using AnonAddy) but I don't need to remember anything with KeePass XC, just a master password (passphrase to be more precise.)
Integration with AnonAddy
1 project | reddit.com/r/Bitwarden | 18 Jan 2022
I would love an integration with the AnonAddy API, since its open source i guess it would not be a lot of problem. This will allow us to generate specific email for the websites/apps we create an account for, so in case we get spam emails from said email we would know what service sold our information.

If someone has your email address can they find out what sites you have accounts on?
2 projects | reddit.com/r/privacy | 13 Jan 2022
It depends on the service. Some will have your email out in the open, others will only have it revealed after a leak. If you want to defend yourself against these types of attacks, try AnonAddyor SimpleLogin.

2 projects | reddit.com/r/ProtonMail | 12 Jan 2022
Additional addresses can't be tied back to your original address. To fight spam more effectively you can take a look at AnonAddy or SimpleLogin as u/7pH7 suggested.

Some of our users wish to use the https://anonaddy.com/ services. However, they are receiving illegible emails.
Did not receive an answer last time I asked. Any news on the unlimited aliases you guys promised us years ago?
1 project | reddit.com/r/ProtonMail | 7 Jan 2022
Also, just to name a few, neither Tutanota nor CTemplar provide unlimited aliases, and no one can stop you from cloning Anonaddy's repo and self-hosting your instance. You would get almost exactly the same functionality as requested to ProtonMail since 2016.
How did you choose your e-mail address "name"?
1 project | reddit.com/r/PrivacyGuides | 5 Jan 2022
