You could also do this: ipfs config --json API.HTTPHeaders.Access-Control-Allow-Origin '["http://IP_ADDRESS_OF_MY_PI:5001", "http://localhost:3000", "http://127.0.0.1:5001", "https://webui.ipfs.io"]' and ipfs config --json API.HTTPHeaders.Access-Control-Allow-Methods '["PUT", "POST"]' ... again, I'm not on fire so obviously I didn't do this myself.

The webui has a pretty cool inspect function that visualizes the CID contents quite nicely.

files suddenly gone, any suggestions? IPFS still shows hosted amount but no files..
Try the webui in a browser directly that used to work better for me than the electron wrapped webui. (https://webui.ipfs.io/)
- PSA: a fix for the "404" / "unexpected EOF" error that bricks the webui file manager

What is the point of local pinning in IPFS Desktop?
(Low level local pins are not really useful for Desktop users, but since we support remote pinning since IPFS Desktop v0.15.0 and ipfs-webui v2.12 we show them for completeness :))

Is the IPFS Desktop client super buggy?
