Freesound API in node.js
There are quite a few projects on github (such as Albin Correya's, Roma's, even the official Cycling74 one) but I can't make any of them work. Even after reading the readmes and inserting my account keys i get either an error related to one of the .js files or a blank message from node.js in max console).

Since the project went into The Met Museum we had to have the script locked off by the powers that be. we rehearsed with the technology for months on weekends and Sara did an amazing job iterating and writing for the technology stack. We developed a show control system using Max/MSP https://cycling74.com/ so that we could do anything in the virtual world at any time. Once we had the script locked we performed it in July 2015 for a month morning, afternoon, and night with live performers. Because of the show control system the performers could deliver the lines as approved but visually we could do anything zany that came to mind. It kept the actors sane during the month long run.

Also, you may find the r/MaxMSP , the Max forums on cycling74.com or the FB Max for Live user group more helpful if you haven't asked in those. This is a hyper-niche question for r/Ableton I Think.

Notes Against Note-Taking Systems
Right, so now I mostly see the titles of the bookmarks as a database of keywords I'm interested in that I can Google with later. It doesn't matter if the link is bad, Google will find it a new place. For example, 20 years ago I saved a link to cycling74, now dead. It had something to do with music and media performance software. Sure enough, they're still alive in a new location (https://cycling74.com/) I'm in the process of paring these links down to just keywords

Any software that produces random noise?
Probably... but if you cant find what youre looking for and have a tiny bit of programming skills -Max MSP is an easy-to-learn multi-media language where you could easily write a program like this. https://cycling74.com

Is there music done using the generated patterns by a cross section of a 4d moving object?
Also, a programming language geared towards music can help with process-driven composition. Max/MSP or ChucK for instance.
