Feedback on new game
I see that the request to dictionaryapi.dev comes directly from the client. Looking at the github for that project, I see this:
-
How can I get all the words in this dictionary api?
The words themselves are in their github project at https://github.com/meetDeveloper/freeDictionaryAPI/tree/master/meta/wordList (in "english.txt"), but I don't see where they're keeping the definitions and other information. I'm guessing (almost sure) there's a free dictionary site they're using, but haven't found it yet.
Looks like the data file they're using is in their GitHub repo.

How to start a big JSON database?
I am making an app that is the word of the day but is in any* language. I found this AMAZING API that provides several+ different languages with definitions, origins, phonetics, sometimes audio the works.

Where can I find more SaaS companies?
Hacker News is a good board to troll, they announce there a lot, also places like techcrunch and producthunt have saas companies featured. If you want a volume solution, https://github.com/facundoolano/google-play-scraper is good for scraping the play store, from which you can just search for what you want. I accumulated a database of 200K apps with that in a week.
- I made a Tampermonkey script that shows app total installs and release date on Google Play.
