Also his code is open. If anybody fancies, they can clone and add any feature they wanted and build an apk out of it.

Why is there such a lack of support for STM and Linux?
I've heard problems like that from both the official app and mine. Thankfully with my apk's you can fix firmware update problems by uninstalling the current app then installing an older one of mine ( https://gitlab.com/alelec/fossil_smartwatches_alelec_android/-/package_files/10275755/download ) which will force a downgrade on the watch when you connect it. Then upgrade again to latest. And hopefully it'll be all sorted.

Can't get secret key for Gadgetbridge from Fossil on Android 13
1) The FossilHRAuthenticator app - this runs on my Pixel 6 with Android 13, but throws a 404 error when I use the four URLs provided at https://github.com/dakhnod/WatchAuthenticator.

Introducing: Gadgetbridge
Just switched my Skagen Jorn (Firmware is DN1.0.3.0r.v9) to Gadgetbridge 0.67.1 (F-Droid). All is well! Great software! The tricky part for me was to fetch the secret key. In contrast to what the readme seems to suggest at https://github.com/dakhnod/WatchAuthenticator, you don't have to "[inject] the proper crypto lib [...] into the project" and compile it by yourself. Just download app-debug.apk from the release page, run it, fill out the proper Skagen URLs (from the readme) and your credentials and you're done!
