Rick Dangerous image 400 GB does not run properly!? (Noob in Linux and RasPi!)
the usual error is the image was made before the 8gb pi4 was released so is compatible with the 1,2 and 4gb models only without updating - for this error you can grab the latest boot file versions (kernel7l.img, start4.elf and the fixup4.dat are required for pi4) from here - https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/tree/master/boot - they go into the /boot partition of the microsd/usb/ssd overwriting the old versions.

Pi4b/4Gb : Is there a workaround to keep WiFi working when booting up from a USB 3 flash drive? Aside from plugging another WiFi dongle in of course.

RetroArch can switch resolution like you said (https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/pull/11590), and this fixes the bug (https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/issues/1357) that the new DRM interface does not work for switching DPI displays (like our SCART hats.

My remote Pi for my ADSB is going bad
Those happened ~9 seconds after startup and it's a known error, so it's probably fine.

Great! I'm looking forward to getting a few of these. I currently have five Raspberry Pis running in my house, mainly for dashboards:
* Zigbee2MQTT in a closet in the middle of the house
* FullPageOS [1] dashboard on my bedroom TV
* FullPageOS dashboard on our living room TV
* FullPageOS dashboard in my office
* RetroPie running emulators and video screensaver on a CRT TV in my workshop

Ideas to Display a Value from a Python Script to a Small LCD
Sounds like a job for a Raspberry Pi with FullpageOS. Just create the HTML file and add JavaScript to reload it every X seconds (or have a DIV that refreshes the data every X seconds).
