Plugin has a path setting for it, and I haven't done it on windows but quick search landed me here: https://github.com/marierose147/ffmpeg_windows_exe_with_fdk_aac

For the most part the metadata will only be useful if you download from an artist's official youtube channel. Thus you will still have to look over the metadata with mp3tag. You also need ffmpeg installed to have this command work as it involes converting codecs

You also have to download yt-dlp’s build of ffmpeg and save it in the same location as yt-dlp.

They recommend using their own builds: https://github.com/yt-dlp/FFmpeg-Builds

Second, use https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp (or https://github.com/oleksis/youtube-dl-gui if you want a GUI), then download the latest n6.0 (non-shared) zip for your platform (e.g. win64) from https://github.com/yt-dlp/FFmpeg-Builds and extract the 3 executables from the bin folder to the same folder as your yt-dlp executable.

It should be fairly easy to set up on Fedora. Install (I put it in /opt and add it to path) yt-dlp/FFmpeg, then install (/opt + path) yt-dlp/yt-dlp. yt-dlp/FFmpeg should come with its required dependencies (don't quote me). YT-DLP comes with most dependencies bundled, except FFmpeg. AtomicParsley is the only other one I've installed.

Download an ffmpeg build for your system. https://github.com/yt-dlp/FFmpeg-Builds/releases Extract the contents of the "bin" folder within the downloaded file to somewhere convenient, like, C:\Path. I just created a folder named "Path" there because I can.
