Planning to play FF7 with 7thHeaven mods on steamdeck, can I simplify this
I am currently working on getting it working, and I dont think it is worth the long guide This Guide Here

Stemudeck.
https://github.com/auntiepickle/ff7seventhheavensteamdeck Tutorial for getting 7th Heaven installed on Steam Deck. The speed up function I believe is built directly into 7th Heaven, so you sohuldn't need to go digging for any other mods to get at least that working. I haven't played in a very long time, so I don't know if that also includes the general fixes to the frame limiter to permit combat to run at 60 FPS as intended in the original PS1 release.

New to Bottles, Can't Install Runners or DLLs
Not that it matters but I'm trying to run Final Fantasy VII with mods following this guide.
- trying to get 7th Heaven(FF7 Mods) running on Steam Deck

Linux Idiot in Need of Some Guidance on Bottles and Wine for Installing 7th Heaven(FF7 Mod Manager)
So I'm currently using this guide(https://github.com/auntiepickle/ff7seventhheavensteamdeck) to get 7th Heaven up and running on my Steam Deck, and I've almost got it working!
- The one thing I'm loving about the Steam Deck that takes it beyond all other console-like experiences: Mods (FFVII, in this case)
- Wanted to play FFVII after playing Remake, so grabbed the Satsuki Yatoshi Mod that comes with several visual upgrades and QoL mods.

Steam Deck
I haven't used it myself but steamtinkerlaunch is definitely your best bet. It lets you easily set up Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex directly on your Deck. The quite extensive wiki will provide more information than I possibly could.

Man New Vegas looks so good on here! Forgot how great this game was. Still can't believe I'm playing this on a handheld.
Tinker Launcher is the easiest way to do it. There is also a third party Linux "port" of MO2 you can install. Tinker Launcher is my preferred method. ProtonupQT is not where you get it from. https://github.com/frostworx/steamtinkerlaunch/wiki/Installation

Does vortex collection work on lutris?
Another app / set of scripts I have found is https://github.com/frostworx/steamtinkerlaunch.
- FSR appears to have no effect on Geometry Dash (Steam game).
- 1k ⭐
- Can't create mixed-case collections ("Vortex")

Set up steam tinker launch on my steam deck to run a nonsteam game with Wine 5.22. Can’t get it to download!

Does the steam deck allow skyrim modding?
Yes you can use mods/mod managers with Steam Tinker Launcher
