Fat tabs
I already made one https://github.com/dannycolin/fx-compact-mode

Made a one-liner with vertical toolbar
I made a one-liner theme with vertical toolbar, using a combination of compact mode and vertical toolbar customization. It's intended to be the best fit with tiling manager, where multiple FF window is stacked. I don't use much tabs(~10 per window) but if it's your thing, this might not be for you. It's still WIP but I'm pretty happy with the result already!

Using an old version of Firefox because i vehemently dislike proton looks
Instead of using ui-fix you can use fx-compact-mode to get back the non-oversized menus and stuff and that should work alongside Photon-Australis.

I plan on adding a new setting very similar to variants, called components, that instead lets users pick-and-choose multiple files at the same time. I haven't figured out the details though (specifically the overriding logic). If you have some ideas, please comment on the relevant issue, #38.

I released the first version of ffcss - a CLI tool to install FirefoxCSS themes in one simple command!
But yeah, if you want to stay tuned about the whole components thing, subscribe to #38. (The milestone is v0.3.0, but I might move that if I see that the feature is less complicated to implement)
