Rather a shame that Executor got lost in the shuffle:

and didn't stick around until Rosetta and so forth went away and it became potentially more useful.

Mind==blown. I used Executor on NeXTstep at the time, but never realized that it was indeed the same mecanism as WINE. I checked, and indeed it is, and the source code for later versions is even available!

Installing VMWare in Windows 10 causes a system error that makes both Sheepshaver and VMWare to stop working and requires a full Windows reinstall, it appears to be a registry conflict of some sort, how to solve?.
