Ethereum question for those that have some accurate info. Now is eth really hard capped at 116M coins or is it “inflationary” with no max cap?
It isn’t right now, but after EIP-1559 and ETH 2.0 full implementation it is believed the issuance rate will go to 0 or may even be negative because of the burn rate. http://watchtheburn.com

EIP-1559 Update, which would reduce Ethereum fees, is already on the testnet - Crypto DeFinance
yeah and in the first day it burned more ethereum than that which was created on mainnet in the same twenty four hours. http://watchtheburn.com

Creating a custom Bip39 brain wallet
I am talking about using diceware or Seedsigner's implementation which can even be verified independently.
- The Ledger Recover case exploded. Any other Hardware Wallet for us?
-
Self-generated seedphrase.
Much easier, you don't have to try so many words, maximum 16 words. It's described here: https://github.com/taelfrinn/Bip39-diceware

Scammed
I think it's best to create your own seed phrase, but the last word has to meet the checksum requirements ane I couldn't get it to work. Here is a tutorial but it didn't work for me - I might try again if I have the time: https://github.com/taelfrinn/Bip39-diceware
- Where can I realistically keep my keyphrase? I am a traveler with no home.
- Do I need a wallet (software) to use BitCoin?
- This can’t be so difficult... eth paper wallet?

Paranoid Security question
If there's concern about the RNG, you can [manually generate a key using dice](https://github.com/taelfrinn/Bip39-diceware). Real randomness! Call me paranoid, but IMO it's worth the extra 30 minutes or whatever. One less thing to trust.
- Is it still "my keys, my crypto"?
- LEDGER HELP! Is this text new? Or got this device hacked before? The package was a bit weird.
