Exactly, lodash should be part of the language. https://github.com/mlajtos/es1995

> It made the decision to extend prototypes. In hindsight, a huge mistake.
I think it was a mistake at the time, but I still believe prototypal inheritance is pretty great idea. And JS desperately needs standard library, which IMO should extend built-in prototypes, so the language would be more coherent. ES1995 [0] was a funny take on this direction, but people (mainly non-JS people) would like to seriously use it. Go figure.

Building a dynamic Canvas rendering engine using JSX
JSX, in my opinion, was the biggest innovation that came out of React given that you could write HTML directly in your JavaScript. I had used other frameworks such as MooTools in the past. You could use them to dynamically construct HTML in JavaScript, but with a very verbose and tedious syntax. It looked very similar to the converted code above. And it worked, but it was not satisfying or pleasant.

[AskJS] TIL StackOverflow monkeypatches the String prototype across its various sites.
In this case, a library called MooTools had their own String.prototype.contains method which was incompatible with the ES2015 proposal. The TC39 had to rename it from contains to includes to avoid breaking a lot of sites.
