Lilbud's Switch theme supports just about everything you can possibly think to install (even weird stuff like the Sega Naomi), and it's really easy to add more esoteric systems if you're the kind of person who does that sort of thing.

It looks like maybe it is using this "widest" (or perhaps the slightly-smaller "wider" version) background image. Not sure where this is being set, though. Far as I can tell, none of the "default" settings use this even if you pick a different screen size; you'd have to specifically choose one of the different no_meta_{x} layouts to get the wider bars used. And they're all for widescreen anyway, while it looks like you're 4:3? Can you summarize the changes that you've made, and/or can you post your config.xml and any other files you've modified from the theme's default?
