What's Going on Behind the Screens: Weekly Dev Update Nov 10th
On Ergofund backend, I created pull request - pull/3. @code_For_Uss @kushti Please review. Sorry it is big. Mostly configurations and common scripts. Changes: - Base project structure. - Added an API endpoint for getting campaigns: /campaigns. Added a job scheduler to get data from scanner. One more commit to work properly though. - Configured ORM and added a table for campaigns to store information. - Filed two more issues on the project: ergofund/issues/4 & ergofund/issues/5.

Looks like the EIP-37 (Ergo Improvement Proposal) in this voting check will pass with +90% of the blocks with positive vote.
Reduce the duration of epochs by 8. From 1024 blocks to 128. This means that the difficulty update will have a significantly faster adjustment. Among several other aspects that you can see here.

Ergo is expected to fork, within the next 24-48hrs, to introduce the new difficulty adjustment algorithm, as described in EIP-37.

Instead of changing the epoch length could we make block time either: (1) shorter or (2) miner adjustable
The proposal also helps smooth out the diff by prevent swings larger than 50% and there are also simulations for hash rate peaks, I suggest reading it
