All of these were created by one person, Dylan Meador, and it only cost ENS fees ($5 or more) + ETH gas fees to set them up. If one person can use four decentralized protocols/systems (ETH, IPFS, ENS, LIMO) to host an entire game, Gamestop's resources could help scale this solution (or something similar) on an L2. Heck you can't even directly use it on https://app.ens.domains/ which has got to be the most adopted app in the web3 world.

While creating these tutorials, I choose Ethereum Name Service as an example, because it's a famous project, and quite frankly, also because I take these changes to study some subjects I am interested in (sue me! 😛).

I would say there's still some degree of centrality for ENS, but it is more decentralized than DNS.
