How to build a config
I am building an emacs config, I have got a list and plan of what I want, but I am not sure where I start building, are their any guides or docs on how to build a config from scratch, explainations of concepts like lazy loading, how the different package managers work and what they do, and all the built in emacs concepts and features I have gone though this tutorial, but it doesn't explain anything and doesn't show how to customise anything.

More detailed description of what I'm looking for is here: https://github.com/Roam-Research/issues/issues/75

Filter linked references
I can't believe this is not possible yet. There is demo code already since 2020 posted on github. This is absolutely crucial to drill down on a page. Why don't we have this yet, 2 years on? GitMurf said it well:

Ideas on an effective note-taking strategy/system for a uni student trying to get back on track
Alternatively, there's also remnote.io, roamresearch.com, and my favorite and free option, obsidian.md (/r/ObsidianMD/). These apps all work on any desktop OS. Obsidian/Remnote has options for spaced-repetition should you need it.

Consolidating Notes
Roam Research, Craft, and Remnote are viable alternatives if Obsidian doesn't strike your fancy. Craft has great options for digitally hand-written notes within the document.

WEDNESDAY: World Events Discussion Day
Another side of this story is also about the right to own your data. The moment I see some cloud-based service, I am foremost skeptical of putting any data to it. For instance, when I started to use Roam a year back, I was a bit hesitant to use it at first. I dived into other alternatives like obsidian and the likes. However, it's always a hassle to manage your own data on the cloud yourself. And I feel most of the users feel this way despite they are tech savvy; they improvise with ease of use with data.

Set up your own cross platform, open source and privacy respecting Roam Research
A few weeks ago I stumbled upon Roam Research. At first glance it's just another note-taking tool like Notion and Evernote. But after a few minutes I realized how powerful this type of note-taking could be.

I'm making an app for my Android smartglasses (Vuzix Blade) using kivymd
The app I'm making for it uses a special note management system called the Zettelkasten method and will be structured to be compatible with Roam Research and Obsidian. I haven't done very much front-end work on it yet, I'm trying to get the mechanics of how bidirectional links work first. If anyone wants to contribute in any way I'd very much appreciate it.
