[Mock-up] App Payments by Tobias Bernard
Actually, come to think of it, I would definitely agree that elementaryOS was a pioneer here. They were the first to have a platform library (Granite) with easy to use, advanced widgets for app creators to use. And they implemented the ability to buy software. Both of those things definitely helped the fact that elementaryOS has an unusually-large amount of custom software written for it, by passionate users.

Any Granite UI Kit?

Trying to build elementary-code on pop_os - compiling error
It built without errors here, using the master branch. I also built latest granite, the only difference from the instructions is that I prefer to install things to /usr/local to avoid problems when updating:

Is it possible to install Code (elementary os text editor) on zorin os lite 32 bit
If that's the case, you can also install Granite from source. Go to https://github.com/elementary/granite/releases and download the latest release there, unzip it, open a terminal in the unzipped folder and install each of Granite's dependencies from Granite's README file by doing sudo apt install (e.g. sudo apt install meson)

- ElementaryOS 7 is a buggy mess of a distro. Very disappointed.

[Feature Request] - Pop Shop still does not show where an installation is coming from (normal apt/apt-get, Flatpak, Snap, etc.)
But it's a fork of https://github.com/elementary/appcenter

How to uninstall Mail, Calendar, Tasks in elementary 7?
There's already an open issue about it, and u/daniellefore has a lead on what could be the cause.

PopStore Freezing constantly.
The Pop!Shop isn't based of GNOME Software, but rather Elementary's Appcenter. I'm pretty sure it's a completely separate project. If I remember correctly, System76 worked with Elementary on this app.

Fedora should make their own software center to replace discover and gnome software center
Pop!_OS's "pop shop" is actually not their own creation. They borrowed/adapted it from another Ubuntu based distro ElementaryOS (these two projects seem to have a good working relationship and have borrowed from one another to the benefit of both). But credit where credit is due, the "Pop shop" is an attractive and well branded implementation/fork of the Elementary App Center. The pop team does make this clear on their github but most users seem unaware.

Please make a functional appstore
It works for me, but if you have any problems or a negative experience, describing this issue on GitHub (https://github.com/elementary/appcenter/issues) would be great!

hello I am a new user and I put elementary OS on my laptop and I can't get it Wi-Fi to work any ideas.
Try connecting with ethernet or thether your phone with USB. See here for a solution. Proposed drivers will not install correctly without proper kernel headers though I think it was fixed in a recent update. https://github.com/elementary/appcenter/issues/1603
- Fresh install Elementary OS 6, stock web browser not work, but firefox works, any tips?
